James "Jay Tee" Thibodeaux - Yes he does have a serious and very comical side to him!

I was born in 1958, and took my first plane ride 24 years later in 1982 in the first aircraft I purchased, a weight shift ultralight. I flew it for quite a while as I raised a family, and also advanced into standard aircraft to earn my instrument rating in 1989.

The 90’s brought a variety of flying plus yearning for something different, aerobatics and I entered my first competition in 1998.  I also continued focusing on the professional side. I earned my commercial ticket in 2000, and started flying professionally for different business in a broad level of aircraft, and led me to flying “Regional Jets” in 2008.

My passion has always been flying, and the ultimate form of flying is aerobatics. To be able to fly AirShows is the culmination of all that I love in aviation, and a dream come true.
